Considering that urban fantasy / teen romance has now thoroughly mined the main oil well of Anne Rice's work (the vamps), I expect they'll be moving on to the oil shales of the Witches series, and the offshore repositories of The Mummy.

I shudder to think of the day someone turns to her Beauty stories for reference, though.
