I had not seen your kind remark until I got your note in my LJ. Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] alanajoli! I'll never forget my first experience of *your* writing--the lovely story about Nomi, and how you were able to weave the past and the present together so organically. I was in awe.

I don't think I can play, even though it seems like the height of ungracious to receive such a great compliment and then not pass it on. But there are so many good blogs that I read, and I feel unable to pick just one or two--but if I start listing more, then the chances of my hurting someone by leaving them off the list seems even greater....

... then, too, I'm feeling shy and boring and unable to come up with things to tell, about myself, that fall within an acceptable range of things I feel comfortable sharing and yet are interesting and yet not bragging. **You** have managed it admirably, I must say. I love the story of your dressing up for the Star Wars movie.
