I'm very lucky in that the local YA librarian often takes my advice on which titles to buy. I still purchase my own, but I can manage to only collect two or three series rather than buying *all* the ones I want to read!

What program do you use for synching, if you don't mind my asking? I used to keep a Word Press journal, too, but fazed that out in order to keep this one better up-to-date.
