Inasmuch as I went to see That Movie last night, when you mentioned the Nurturer/Bad Boy reversal, my first thought was that Lupin and Tonks (one of whom is in Firefox's spell-checker and the other not, interestingly enough) seemed to fit that bill pretty nicely. Though I haven't read (and do not, at present, have time to read) the book or the blog entries you mention, so I may be missing some crucial information. :-)

Also, reviewing the above, it appears that I've caught the case of rampaging polysyllables that my bosses were manifesting during the staff meeting this morning... hate it when that happens. ;-)
