Cage Match!

For the last couple (longer?) of years, Suduvu has been hosting a cage match of SFF characters, the wins determined by voters. This year's competition features some exciting protagonists, including



Kelly Meding's Evangeline Stone and Stacia Kane's Chess Putnam. The fictional accounts of how writers imagine the matches would go are always hugely entertaining, but trolling through the pairings just to see who's shown up this year is as much fun by itself.



So: Fight! Fight! Fight!

I'm not up on the hot SFF females (which sounds odd to say), but I remember something like this done with the popular fantasy characters (Harry Potter vs Aragon, etc). I think Rand Al Thor from the Wheel of Time ended up the winner (naturally). The resulting scenarios were pretty fun, though...

Actually, Harry is showing up in this competition, too, vs. someone evil, which I think gives him the edge. Hermione was a competitor in 2009. Other series that are features include Game of Thrones, Discworld, and Gaiman's American Gods duology. :)
