Random Quote of the Day

"George Raft, an old movie star, thought if he played in a movie where his character died, he wouldn’t get paid in the end. Me? I’m pretty sure if I TELL what I’m working on, I won’t get paid at the end!"

I've read your novel, INTO THE REACH, and it was actually a link from your publisher's website that directed me here. Since that point, I've added your journal to my favorites. I come here at least three times a week to read about your progress as a writer and your interpretations of related material.

Thank you for writing, and for giving another aspiring author something to relate to.

As Alana is out of the country, let me say this. I am currently editing the final novel in the trilogy, and she has outdone herself yet again. I too come here because Alana has a lot to say, whether in fiction or not.

Thank you so much for writing in! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed both the novel and are enjoying my blog. Sometimes I wonder if what I have to say is only interesting to me--and I'm delighted to know that you're able to relate to my sometimes random musings. I hope you're able to find Departure as well--and should you make it to GenCon this year, pop by the White Silver booth and say hello! Good luck in your writing as well.
