alanajoliSo, I'm working on my very first scanning project. I had actually thought about just retyping the whole book I'm working on (it's not that long), but I learned from a patron at the library about this device called the DocuPen. It's a nifty, portable scanner that comes with OCR software that I am just having a heck of a time trying to learn to use. The learning curve shouldn't be so high, but hey, it's my first assignment, so I guess that's okay. By next time, I'll be a pro.
In the meantime, I'm preparing to head back up to Simon's Rock this weekend to catch a thesis performance and a musical (and a meal or two with some wonderful folks). I have also been tasked to see if Simon's Rock still sells a) Maple Syrup, b) Hoodies with the old/real name, and c) I know there was a c, but I forget what it was.
It also occurs to me that now I have time for blogging, I have less to discuss. But it could just be that it's late and I'm tired. I will be more entertaining tomorrow.
