I had a goal to publish my goals for the year on my web site by the end of January, but I have failed even that goal! :~) The reasons for it are good, though. I unexpectedly found two new freelance web site projects that have taken the free time I would have used to write out my goals.
I am watching more movies so far, at least one a week; that is an important goal for me this year. (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Lars and the Real Girl, Be Kind Rewind, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and Vantage Point.) I made a generic goal last year to "watch more movies" -- I think I watched a few more but having it quantified like this has helped so far.
Overall, January has been a great start to the year! I finished two excellent books, *Time Bites* by Doris Lessing and *When Faith Meets Reason*, and I nearly finished the amazing *Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance*. I published an issue of Journey to the Sea [http://journeytothesea.com/] on February 1 and am hard at work writing two articles for the next one. I have been writing blog posts twice a month at [http://randyhoyt.com/].
