New York Publishing

alanajoliDo I know anyone who is looking for jobs in publishing in New York these days? It seems like awhile ago, I knew of several (and I myself was perusing the opportunities). Now, however, I don't recall anyone actually job hunting. I came across what looks like an excellent entry-level/low-level opportunity and feel as though I should share it with someone.
Feel free to send me an lj message if I should have remembered you as one of the NYC job hunters and it has totally fled my brain.
In other news, I wrote more than 4000 words in the last two days, all of it obituaries. I'm also in shock that Kirkus Reviews is no longer going to be in print. Writing for Something about the Author is going to become far more challenging in coming years! (We use Kirkus Reviews as a resource, alongside Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal, quite frequently!)
