Arrr! I forgot about pirates!

I've still got an hour left to talk like a pirate, so in honor of my not having missed it, I'd like to recommend a silly little novel called The Pirates!: In an Adventure with Scientists. I read it the year it came out (looks like 2004) and thought it was delightfully funny. There are now apparently two sequels that I've missed, so my book list is growing longer by the moment.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!

Well, it is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, right?

Besides, "mate" is a perfectly good word in both the dialect of the country where you're now residing and pirate talk!
