It was tough to pick one to use, so I'm glad you liked it! I remembered less of this essay than I had thought--when I first read it, I was fresh off of reading Saving the Appearances by Barfield, and I thought the pieces were very similar at the time. I noticed the emphasis on sub-creation more this time through--which makes me think I need to read the whole thing more thoroughly again (not just while looking for an excerpt!).
