They're coming home!

Thanks to (we suspect) political and media pressure, the journalists I mentioned yesterday (including Brian Conley from Alive in Baghdad have been released and are in the air right now. They should touch down in L.A. early tomorrow morning.

Awesome news! I had heard that 8 out of 10 were released, did all of them get to be let go?

All of them who were arrested together were released. There are, of course, still a lot of people in administrative detention. Many of these folks are people whose visas ran out and, instead of getting to go home, they got put in administrative detention for an undetermined amount of time. I'm hoping that Brian will be writing about it all soon--we chatted yesterday morning, and he definitely has stories to tell. :)
